Do you think that Luffy, from One Piece, has become a real pirate captain?

If you have followed the series then you would have notices that Luffy has more and more moments when his crew, even if the descion is ridiculous, will blindly follow Luffy's lead. The question I want to know is do you think Luffy has become a pirate captain like Shanks or Gol D. Rodger? Think about it and say why you think what you think.
