All of your points can fit into this but my favourite is the pointless meetings having to explain to people how and why they should be doing their work. Anymore I've found that most people get a job with no concept of how to do it. Never could understand that and when you found them out there was no way of firing them without the constant threat of paying out huge compensation for their hurt feelings. Didn't matter that they couldn't do the job.
