Is not it (far) cheaper to BUY oil -- even from unwholesome dictators -- than bomb them?

It will be even cheaper to abolish democracy in the US. Why waste money on elections . And establish a dictatorship. But that is not the best solution for political ineffectiveness. Cheaper is not always better.
