Do you ume that the road not taken ?

We never know what would have happened had we chosen the road not taken. We chose the road we traveled on, not knowing what we would experience along the way, but we took it just the same. The path may have been bumpy, & there was the desire to turn back many times, but if we had, we never would have known what was around the bend. The rough road made us appreciate the smooth road when we got to it. It taught us, that life is not always what we'd like but we deal with it as best we can. My journey down the road I chose, had its share of bumps but I learned not to dwell on them, because smooth roads were ahead if I believed it & didn't give up. The bumps in the road I chose are pretty much smoothed over now, having taken the rough road more than once. I knew in time that the road would be smooth & prove to me that I'd chosen the right road. If the road I'd chosen had been smooth all the way, how would I have learned how to deal with the bumps?
