Help with sony ericcson w580i?

so i recently got the sony ericcson w580i but i need help puting music on it. i already downloaded disc2phone 1.5 and whenever i try to put music on it it wont go. im trying to put music from itunes to my phone. whenever i connect it i cant be found! i tried already like 100 times. is it because i dont have the sd card? do i need to upgrade my computer? or do i need to upgrade disc2phone? could someone help me???
