Me and my girl friend have become really distant recently...?

I understand where you are coming from. The boyfriend I am with right now, at one point about 2 years ago, something similar happened, but he would not talk to me about his problems at all. He would just push me away and act really cold sometimes and tell me he doesn't love me (when he said and I know he does). He was going through something really deep and he wouldn't tell me a thing. I am in love with this man, I have always been in love with him. But he pushed me away so much, he numbed my heart. It got to the point I didn't even feel any pain or anything when he would push me away. So, i broke up with him. But a year and half later, we recently started seeing each other again, and now he told me what he was going through at the time. We never stopped loving each other. I believe your girlfriend may be going through something that she may have to do on her own, maybe she needs to find herself ( you can only truly get to know another human being, if you know yourself first). GIve her time. But maybe the time she needs is in her own. If you are truly meant for each other, nothing will take that away from each other. Hope that helped. :-)
