What are the pains in my legs?

Every once in a while, at least 5 times a month I get pains in my legs. My mom told me it was shingles, but I heard shingles is when you get a rash and this just feels like a bone pain...No it's not growing pains, because I've been 5 ft. for 2 years already (I'm 15, female). But yeah, what is this bone pain I usually get???? D:
