Is it safe for a baby to sleep in a bouncer all night?

My baby only sleeps in his bouncer and anytime I put him on his back he cries until I prop him up or hold him..and he can sleep for HOURS in his bouncer, but I am afraid to do that overnight..is it safe or no?
