Media nonsense? When in doubt...?

Given up believing half anything the media says these days, they just seem to be grasping at straws to make good reporting. The media can be a helpful tool in cases like this but when they just keep speculating or jumping to the wrong conclusions it can be just as harmful. This case just seems to be going nowhere and the longer it goes on without success the less likely a happy conclusion. The poor little mite, where on earth is she?
