maybe he has a learning disability. You should get him tested and see if he learns differently from other kids. It sounds like he is dyslexic. I did the same thing. He might also have ADD, not the hyper kind. It is the kind where the child can not pay attention and zones out. You would have to get his doctor to refer him for testing.
